This Website Catholic Prayer Group is inspired by Matthew 20.

For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

[20] There am I in the midst of them: This is understood of such assemblies only as are gathered in the name and authority of Christ; and in unity of the church of Christ. St. Cyprian, De Unitate Ecclesiae. (Douay Rheims BIBLE)

This Website Catholic Prayer Group is an ideal site to come and leave prayer requests and to pray for others.

We have over 200 years of Catholic Prayers to draw on. Catholic Prayers are beautiful prayers. The Hail Mary and Lord's prayer will surely live for evermore.

Brother Bert

Your host at Catholic Prayer Group.

A few year's ago I suffered an aneurysm which I would not wish on anyone. Less than 25% of patients even make it to the operating theatre. I wondered why did the good Lord spare me?

This website Catholic Prayer Group is my thanksgiving and to further the glory of GOD's name.

How long has it been since you talked with the Lord?
And told Him your heart's hidden secrets
How long since you prayed? How long since you stayed
On your knees till the light shone through?

How long has it been since your mind felt at ease?
How long since your heart knew no burden?
Can you call Him your friend?
How long has it been since you knew that He cared for you?

How long has it been since you knelt by your bed
And prayed to the Lord up in heaven?
How long since you knew that Hed answer you
And would keep you the long night through?

How long has it been since you woke with the dawn
And felt that the days worth the living?
Can you call Him your friend?
How long has it been since you knew that He cared for you?

GOD IS CALLING! ARE YOU FREE?

Remember that God is never “NOT AT HOME” to hear from you. Don’t be “NOT AVAILABLE” for him! There are some daily Catholic prayers such as the Our Father and the Rosary that take only minutes to say, yet their benefits are priceless.

Catholic prayers can do wonders for your soul. God gives us joy and strength though prayer.

If we don't believe this then we may as well go and flush ourselves Down the Crapper.

You can get a great sense of peace in good times and consolation in bad times from them. Our Lord wants to give us the good things we ask for in accordance with His will. The more we pray the more we can grow in His grace.

The more we pray the luckier we get.

TEE OFF WITH GOD

Grace is a gift from God that enables us to live more fully in union with Him. It strengthens our desire to choose good over evil. It also helps us to manage Stormy days. When we feel humility, compassion, forgiveness we’re putting others’ needs before our own. These are signs of God’s graces working within us.

When we let Him work through us, we help Him to do the same for others. We can show His love for others in how we treat them and in how we pray for them.

TRAVEL WITH GOD

Still, God hasn’t promised any of us a “She's sweet” in this life. Sometimes we feel more like we’re in the Garden of Gethsemane where Our Lord prayed in deep agony the night before His Passion.

Our Lord taught us to pray “lead us not into temptation,” so that we can resist temptations against His will when they hit us. Through prayer we are better able to resist the every day temptations such as envy, hatred, bearing grudges, greed, lust, and selfishness. These negative emotions don’t bring us any real joy or peace of mind.

HE also taught us to forgive us our trespassses as we forgive those that trespass against us. (This is what Nelson Mandela did).

Also, as Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, “Pray for those who persecute and slander you” (Matthew 5:44). God wants us to pray for others

THE JOURNEY

The most important thing is to persevere in your prayer life on your journey with God.

We pass this way but once only. A hundred years from now the only thing that matters is how well you know JESUS now!

GOD bless you Mrs Robinson JESUS loves you more than you'll ever know.

There are times you might feel you just can’t concentrate, that there are too many distractions. Or perhaps you feel God’s not there. Pray anyway

So come and explore the rich heritage of our Catholic prayers in the Catholic Prayer Group.

If at times you feel too intimidated or too distracted remember God is always there and ready to help

I hve included Webpages proving the True Faith and outlining the Church founded by JESUS CHRIST,

You will find what Catholics believe.

Why do we pray for the dead?

Why do we burn incense?

Do we worship Mary?

What is Holy water?

Do we worship idols?

Are Catholics a cult?

Perhaps you can reflect on the current scandals that have enveloped Holy Mother The Church in these times. Why is the Catholic Church singled out in these "Sexual scandals"?

The Catholic Church is no Robinson Crusoe in this regard. The Anglican Church in Canada is close to bankruptcy due to litigation and at least 12 other denominations are similarly "tainted" including the Salvation Army.

Pope Francis has recently stated that 2% of Priests, Bishops and Cardinals are paedophiles. ????? Commentators inform us that 5% of the general public are paedophiles! .

Religious organisations are not alone either. Indeed one may say that these kinds of incidents have been widely reported in youth movements such as the Boy Scouts. Why then only The Church?

This is a product of living in a "Fallen World".

Pray that truth and justice will prevail.

Heavenly GOD we praise you and we worship you and we adore you.

I pray that all who visit the Catholic Prayer Group will be truly blessed.

I pray this in the name that is above all other names the precious name of JESUS.

Amen and Amen!
